From AI Recommendation to a Consultation Request: The Luxe Build

Luxe Window Works connects a public consultation description to a working request interface. Mark reports that an authorized outside-agent test submitted a request and reached the business inbox. The important distinction is the outcome: a request for human follow-up, not a booked appointment, quoted price or accepted project.

The business problem came first

I own Luxe Window Works as well as Kodecite. This is a build for my own window-treatment business, not an independent client endorsement. A homeowner should be able to understand the products, see relevant work and start a useful consultation without repeating their story at every step.

The website explains the business. The request interface carries a defined inquiry to the team. Those are separate jobs. A connected business description helps with the first; it does not execute the second.

What a consultation request is allowed to mean

The public version 1.0 contract, read on October 10, 2026, describes a request for human follow-up. It declares direct booking, pricing and checkout unavailable. A successful submission must not be presented as a reserved visit.

The description provides required inputs, supported intents, geographic handling and response statuses. It distinguishes ordinary new-product inquiries from cases that need different handling, such as repair, warranty or commercial questions. A caller should read the current contract rather than copy a rule from this article.

How the information and action connect

A customer can begin with a question such as whether motorized shades suit a difficult window. The assistant needs the relevant product/service information, service area and evidence before it can suggest Luxe as a fit. If the customer then asks it to request contact, the assistant needs the request rules as well.

For a hypothetical motorization inquiry, the assistant should confirm the details the customer authorizes it to share, submit only the supported request and repeat the actual returned status. If the response requires a human review, it should say so. It must not fill a missing price or appointment time with a plausible guess.

The reported historical test, with its evidence limits

In the original account, I reported an authorized in-area test returning HTTP 200 with accepted / in_service_area, an email arriving in the Luxe inbox, a same-key replay returning the original outcome without a second email, and a changed payload with the same key returning HTTP 409 idempotency_conflict.

Those are author-reported historical observations. The original inbox artifact and full test transcript were not independently located for this revision. The public contract and implementation review support the intended behavior; they do not independently reproduce that historical inbox event. No production submission was made to update this article.

The illustration above is conceptual artwork. It is not a screenshot of a transcript, request payload or inbox. No private customer information is published here.

Provider acceptance and inbox delivery are different checkpoints

A receiving API can validate a request and call a delivery provider. A provider can accept that message for processing. The message can then be delivered, filtered, delayed or rejected downstream. A provider’s success response alone does not establish that a person saw the message in an inbox.

A strong test record distinguishes request acceptance, provider acceptance, delivery evidence and human follow-up. For this case, inbox arrival belongs to the historical author’s report. The request interface should describe its response at the level the system can actually establish.

Retry protection has a defined scope

The current public contract requires an idempotency key, describes same-key/same-request replay and rejects a changed request under that key. It declares a durable store available without publishing storage internals or thresholds. That is the published contract; a GET of it does not test every runtime failure.

Duplicate protection depends on the implemented key rules, persistence and retention scope. It does not prevent a user from creating another inquiry with a different key, and it is not an absolute promise that no duplicate can ever reach the business. Rate limits reduce repeated use; they do not authenticate an agent or prove that its customer consented.

The earlier indexing chapter was a separate observation

The earlier Luxe article reported indexed pages increasing from 75 to 124 within 48 hours after website work. That is 49 additional indexed pages in the author’s historical account. The original indexing export was not independently verified for this revision.

Indexing means pages entered an index; it does not establish ranking, qualified leads or the cause of a change. Nor does it prove that an assistant submitted anything. The useful sequence is to make the business understandable, check discovery separately, then test one agreed action. The technical readiness checklist keeps those acceptance tests apart.

What another business can reasonably take from this

Choose one useful request and define its meaning before building it. Identify required information, customer authorization, business rules, rejection cases, retry behavior and the human handoff. Test in a controlled environment, then seek explicit permission for any production delivery test.

This case does not establish universal assistant compatibility, verified agent identity, autonomous pricing, direct booking or a standard endpoint included in every website. Kodecite’s website foundation and separately scoped actions follow different scopes. Use the planning guide to decide which problem you actually need solved.

Questions about this topic

Did the agent book an appointment?

No. The reported result was a consultation request for human follow-up. The public contract says direct booking is unavailable.

Is the historical inbox delivery independently verified here?

No. It remains Mark’s historical report. The original inbox artifact and full test transcript were not independently located for this revision.

Does an idempotency key establish consent?

No. It helps recognize a repeated request within the implementation’s scope. Customer authorization and agent identity require their own controls.

Can the discovery URL be used as a permission to submit?

No. It describes the available interface. A test that creates a real request still needs authorization and appropriate handling by the receiving team.
